I loved this book. I couldn't put the book down and finished it in one day. Although that night it gave me nightmares. A very thrilling and enjoyable novel.

A suspenseful story. I doubt many parents could positively state how far they would go in crisis situations unless they've lived them. The main issue herein: Is it better to be the parent or the buddy? Not as good as other books by Scottoline that I've read.

Just get this DVD, pop it into your player, sit back and enjoy. It's that easy. You'll watch it and you'll love it. That's all.

Excellent plot line, EXCEPT the ending. Author doesn't explain how the wife conveniently goes from telling her husband "it's over," "I want a divorce," to magically showing up just in time to foil the bad guy. It's as if the wife completely forgets that she kicked her husband out. Author also never explains why mother & son even decided to show up at the bad guy's in the first place.

Far too pat an ending, far too quickly, without even attempting to tie up loose ends. Disappointment from a usually good author.

If the book kept to its title, trying to keep quiet about a life changing event, it would have kept my interest. However, convenient plot contrivances (of the TV movie variety) ruined this book for me.

Didn't take long to figure out someone else killed the girl. So many lies, so much deceit. Did not care much for this book.

This books makes you wonder how far would you go to protect your child. What would you do in a situation that the Buckman's faced??
