Take me there was a pretty good read. It addressed some serious issues and was interesting to read. The story revolves around Rhiannon, a high school student who is dealing with the greif of being dumped. Her best friend Nichole, just broke up with her boyfriend, and has found a new crush - only he isn't exactly a student. Along with their really close friend James, together they fight the drama that goes on in high school, and try to figure out their lives. What I really liked about this book is the way the setting was described, New York was always so busy and filled with fun and excitement. There was also an interesting subplot of a girl in an abusive relationship and how she dealt with it. This book definitely had some surprises, and the ending was a bit abrupt but I still enjoyed it. This book is told through the voices of Rhiannon, Nichole and James so it was nice to see their different points of view on the same event. These three high school students are on a search to find love, and they stop at nothing to find it. The timing is especially interesting because the book only takes place over the course of one week, but it is very eventful and exciting. Susane Colsanti understands what it is like to be a teenager and I'm sure many people can relate to this story. Overall, this book was a captivating read that was predictable in some ways but also very surprising.

my friend begged me to read this after the my bff (that just became my bf, who is now my ex) dumped me, i was heartbroken. She ran up to me & shoved the book into my chest saying, "Read! You! NOW!" I looked at her strangely, but sighed shaking my head, "why?"
She laughed, then knowing i was serious she looked at me with a straight face (which i knew was serious since my friend is NEVER serious) "Dude, this is basically ur life in a book! Its EXACTLY what happened to you, you HAVE to read it!"

So, now i finally am (btw, he broke up with me about... well in august so about 5 months now? im still a little upset but going strong) (/)^3^(\)

I really enjoy books written by Susane Colasanti, but this would have to be my favorite out of all of her books. It gives you three perspectives of the events going on in the characters' lives. At some parts, I would feel confused and not up to date on what is going on because of the perspective changes, but that was the only con. Everything else was perfect. All in all, a good read.

It was a good book. The only problem was that it was in 3 perspectives (which can be good sometimes) but unless you read it nonestop you'll get lost.

Why don't I put the clothes in a dryer and we can go for a walk?"
"You can't just leave your clothes like that."
"Why not?"
"It's against Wash World regulations."
"Says who?"
Rhiannon points to a huge sign. It says: DO NOT LEAVE CLOTHES UNATTENDED IN MACHEINS.
"Oh. Right. That's okay, thought. I have special permission."
"From who?"
"That is top secret information."
