Emphasis on the stupid. A great cast struggles with an inane script and idiotic direction. Ryan Gosling is hot AF in this movie!

had been looking foreword to seeing "Crazy, Stupid, Love" for a really long time and this was so worth the wait! As a huge fan of the series "Frasier", my real interest in this movie (really!) was Dan Butler, who played Bob "Bulldog" Briscoe and I have to admit that his small role was my favorite scene (absolutely hilarious!) , but the movie was really good over all. Nothing too terribly offensive except for a few scenes. Steve Carrell was great in the title role and at times I felt myself sympathizing with him. The entire cast was great but Ryan Gossling was a standout. His character was a bit much but he did a great job in the role. Julianne Moore was really good as the estranged soon to be ex-wife as well.. There are a few different storylines going on, that reminded me a bit of "Love, Actually" and they all come together in a most unexpected way. Lots of surprise stars in this as well.

Some funny moments. Great acting and chemistry. It was worth watching to the end, although there was enough implied shallow sex in the movie to make it tedious after awhile.

This romantic comedy is about Cal Weaver, a husband and father who is extremely successful and happy with his life. Well, that is, until he finds out that his wife has been cheating on him and wants a divorce. This leads him into the arms of a young stud named Jacob Palmer, who will set out to teach Cal how to regain his mojo and meet a new woman to love. This movie is outrageous and ridiculous in many ways, but also has many moments which may ring true for some. The chemistry between the cast members is what keeps it alive and so entertaining to watch. I would rate this movie 4/5 stars.

Funny, poignant, outlandish at times, story of a couple's responses to a dulled marriage.

Worth watching but it will not get any special trophy. I would say a chick flick type of movie.

It certainly is crazy and fun.

Still one of my favorite romantic-comedies, and one of the few that the men in my life have enjoyed as much as the women. A middle-aged man in a crumbling marriage meets a young, professional ladies-man, and hilarity and drama ensue. This movie is goofy fun, and hits the spot when I just need a good laugh and a real-world-but-not-too-heavy love story.

ok, first half was slow but some good dialogue, second half some funny situations (like backyard), a little unbelievable and mysoginistic?

Never watched the movie. The cover looks terrible. One look at it makes it look like a porn movie.

Cal Weaver: "You know a word that is not used very often anymore? Cuckold. I'm cuckolded. David Lindhagen cuckolded me. He made a cuckold out of me. He slept with my wife and I didn't know about it! And that is the definition of cuckoldom. David Lindhagen took my wife and slept with her. Uuch! Thought I did everything right. Got married, had kids, the house. What do I get for it? I get cuckolded? DAVID LINDHAGEN CUCKOLDED ME, HE MADE A CUCKOLD OUT OF ME."
